A nationwide event dedicated to the secondary and vocational education took place recently. Within the international non-profit association WorldSkills International founded in 1953, our city Kostromа participated in the competition aimed to raise the status and standards of vocational training and trades. More than 100 students from about 30 local educational institutions demonstrated their skills. Tasks assessment was carried out by 17 federal level experts including 7 leading experts from the Kostroma region.
Among the expert committee members, MMTR Technology specialists made their contribution to the assessment of 3 categories. For instance, in one of the nominations the contestants were engaged in designing a browser game.
According to our team members, all the competitors passed their tests successfully and received the prizes kindly provided to the nominees. The nominations included Web-development, Web-design, and Business Software Solutions.

This the IIIrd open Regional Championship “WorldSkills Russia” not only reveals the professional educational organizations of Kostroma region in a new way, but also shows the capacity of the potential region personnel: talented students and mentors.
